Our Christmas Leadership Conference promises to be the most incredible three days of adventure exploring New York through our “Back Door Tour” educational experience. Our dream is for parents (grandparents / aunts / uncles) to invest in their student in ways that would often be considered an uncommon path to learning. Our promise is that relationships will soar as you experience the wonder of the city and the depth of our coaching times.
The conference is two-fold; First and foremost a time to take stock of your leadership and goal setting thinking beyond what the world is expecting of students today. And second will be a crash course in understanding day-to-day life in a variety of New York neighborhoods. Our morning sessions will prepare you for the days adventures and our evening sessions will help process the experience.
Experiencing a ‘back door tour’ allows travel not on the beaten path with tourists, but instead enjoying the food, architecture and the sights and sounds that make the holiday season such a mind altering place to be. Each day will include a look into issues of faith and a visit to one of the most incredible ministries on earth, Metro Ministries in Brooklyn.
Any student in fifth – twelfth grade is invited to invite only one parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle or a significant adult. The experience will include time together as well as time with interest based small groups, come prepared for lots of walking and our sixteen hours days.
